Gardaí are investigating a bizarre case of vandalism in Inishowen where a number of silage bales were slashed last week.

The incident occurred in the area of Glenagivney, Moville, between approximately 6pm on Wednesday, September 25, and 6pm on Thursday the 26th.

Twelve silage bales were stacked along a roadside in that area and the plastic wrapping on them was slashed between those times.

If anybody observed any suspicious activity in the area between those dates, or if they can offer any relevant information, they are asked to contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540. The Garda Confidential Line may also be contacted on 1800 666 111.
