The Buncrana community and beyond are deeply saddened by the loss of Deirdre McDaid, a beloved local woman and dedicated colleague at iCARE.
Mrs McDaid (nee Callaghan), of Meenagorey, passed away in the care of Donegal Hospice.
She is survived by her husband Brendan and their children, Jason and Amy.

Her caring and helpful ways made her a motherly figure to many young people in the community.
