Principal, Ms.Temple, spoke of her pride in the development of this rich resource for all the students.
She commended Rachel in her achievements so far as a journalist and an advocate for the farming community.
She reflected that Rachel’s current position is an inspiration to many of the Milford secondary school’s students.
She also thanked the Literacy Committee for all their hard work and efforts.
Ms.O’ Connor, Team Lead, said she was “absolutely delighted to get the door of this dedicated space open!”
Mia Boyle and Stephanie Stewart (2nd years) were the first library visitors and Mick Kelly, also from 2nd year, borrowed the first book.
Ms.Patton thanked the Parents Association for their kind and generous donation towards the furnishing of the library.
