A 5-month-old baby girl has been located safe and well almost four hours after being taken from her family in a car hijacking in Dublin today.
Baby Daisy Hall, was inside a Silver Nissan Qashqai Hatchback when a man, unknown to the family, took the vehicle from Mountjoy Square, in Dublin 1 this afternoon.
Gardaí issued a nationwide child rescue alert. After 20 minutes, the alert was promptly cancelled after Daisy was located.
Gardaí are due to share details of the investigation later this evening.
