Another round of political polls has suggested that support for the Government is continuing to increase.
Today’s Sunday Times/Opinions poll shows that both Government parties have made notable gains in the last four months.
Since the last Sunday Times poll in May, Fine Gael’s support has raised by 5 points to 24%, with Fianna Fail also seeing a 4 percent increase to 20%.
Meanwhile the poll shows a sharp drop for Sinn Fein since May, with their support lying at 18% currently – down 9 percent on just four months ago.
Independents and Others have the largest amount of support outside of Fine Gael and Fianna Fail, at 20%.
