Katie-George Dunlevy has secured a superb gold at the Para-Cycling World Championship in Zurich.
She repeated her Paralympic success from just a few weeks ago in Paris, maintaining her fine form.
Dunlevy and tandem pilot Linda Kelly stormed to victory in the Women’s B time-trial at the World Championships today, taking gold by almost a full minute ahead of Britain’s Sophie Unwin and Jennie Holl.
It marks a seventh total World Championship gold medal for Katie-George, who boasts Donegal roots through her father John.
She will now aim to add to this Summer’s medal haul in the Women’s Road Race in Zurich on Wednesday, before she ends next week with her official homecoming in Mountcharles next Saturday.
