Gardaí have launched an investigation after a man aged in his 50s was found dead on a road in County Roscommon.
The man, a cyclist, was found dead at approximately 2am early this Sunday morning at Cloonchambers, Castlerea.
His body has been transferred to Roscommon University Hospital.
Gardaí say that the post-mortem will help them determine the course of their investigations into the incident.
They have also appealed to any witnesses, or anyone who has dash-cam footage to come forward.
