Donegal’s young talent continued to impress at the National Community Games Finals held in Carlow over the weekend.
The culture weekend saw participants from across Ireland showcase their skills in solo singing, group singing, art, handwriting, and model making.
The weekend was a resounding success, drawing over 5,000 visitors through the gates on Saturday and Sunday.
Donegal’s contingent, led by managers Sinead Hagan and Nancy McNamee, made a significant impact with their impressive performances.
Hagan and McNamee were delighted with the dedication and talent displayed by the Donegal competitors.
Everyone did their county proud, they said, adding that the experience gained from taking part in a national final will always benefit them going forward.
Karen Hartin was also recognised for her valuable contributions and expertise throughout the weekend.
As the Community Games season draws to a close, the National AGM will take place in Athlone later this month.
