In recent months Glencar Service Station in Letterkenny has gone through a store redevelopment which has seen its footprint double in size, and this has allowed for the introduction of several new departments offering a range of products in Homeware, Hardware, Tools, Plumbing, Electrical, Gardening, Car Care and much much more.
They are now on the lookout to recruit an ambitious and results-driven Store Manager to manage this new format store.
Hardware/Homeware background would be an advantage but not a necessity.
The successful candidate requires the following experience:
- At least 2 year’s experience in a managerial role in a Retail store
- Forecourt/ Hardware experience an advantage but not a necessity
- Must be a strong people person with experience of dealing with staff
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to lead and motivate
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP
The candidate must be able to work within set budgets and be committed to developing the store while being fit for the following tasks:
- Directing and supervising activities within the store
- Checking in deliveries
- Ordering stock
- Promotions & Marketing
- Achieving targets
- Working with your team to achieve high standard of customer excellence
- Working with your team to deliver high store standards.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Base €34,000 per annum
Additional pay: Profit share bonus
