Cash stolen during break-in at Letterkenny business

An investigation is underway after a burglary in Letterkenny last weekend.

The break-in was reported at a business premises on the Neil T Blaney Road between 8pm on Friday the 30th of August and 6.45am on Saturday the 31st of August.

The smash-and-grab robbery saw thieves breaking in through a window and stealing cash from the register.

Gardaí are appealing to the public for information as they continue with enquiries.

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity in that area between those times or who may have any relevant information to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. The Garda Confidential line may be contacted on 1800 666 111,” a spokesperson said.
