Home Instead, Ireland’s leading home care services provider, is running Hiring Week all next week from the 2nd to the 6th of September.
Home Instead Donegal is getting a head start on Hiring Week and will host its first event this Friday 30th August in SuperValu Killybegs.
With over eighty events taking place nationwide, Home Instead aims to expand its professional CAREGiver team by 1000, solidifying its commitment to delivering exceptional home care services for those who wish to age in place but require assistance.
As part of Home Instead Hiring Week, the Home Instead Donegal team will be available at various locations across Donegal to discuss exciting career opportunities.
Join them this Friday, 30th August, at SuperValu Killybegs from 10am to 2pm to learn more about what they do and how you could become part of something meaningful.
The team will also be at SuperValu Dungloe on Wednesday, 4th September, from 11am to 2pm, with a Recruitment Day at the Home Instead office in Letterkenny the same day from 9am to 4pm.
If you cannot make the Recruitment Day, you can also apply through the Home Instead website.
On Thursday, 5th September, visit the team at SuperValu Bundoran from 10am to 2pm.
This year, Home Instead is introducing an interesting new event: the Virtual Dementia Tour, which will be in Letterkenny on Friday 6th of September.
This is a uniquely immersive training course which allows people to walk in the shoes of a person living with dementia. Attendees can see, feel, and hear what the world might be like for a person living with dementia through the use of specially designed equipment which will impair their physical and sensory abilities.
The tour is delivered on a state-of-the-art mobile simulator, widely referred to as the dementia bus, and participants will spend a short amount of time experiencing the world in the same way that a person living with dementia might.
The tour is backed up by scientific and medical evidence which proves that there is simply no better way of understanding what it might be like to live with dementia.
If you would like to take part in this experience, booking is essential. Call (074) 911 3050 for more information.
