Beloved Donegal Town woman Elizabeth Cave (née Coburn), who died following a tragic collision in Inver, will be laid to rest this Saturday.
Mrs Cave of St Ernan’s, Donegal Town, aged in her 80s, passed away in Sligo University Hospital yesterday from injuries sustained in a crash on Sunday.
Predeceased by her husband Stephen and brother John, she is survived by daughters Sarah (Bob), Vera (Mike), Rachel (Tony) and son Richard (Louise). She is also deeply missed by her sisters Marion Burgess and Eleanor Hort and brother James Coburn, nieces and nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Mountcharles, F94 X02N, from 5pm – 7pm on Friday 30th August.
Funeral service in Donegal Town Church of Ireland, F94 Y902, at 11am on Saturday, followed by burial in the Glebe Cemetery.

Gardaí investigating the tragic collision yesterday arrested a man in his 50s. He was charged to appear before a sitting of Letterkenny District Court today.
Mrs Cave is the eleventh person to lose their life on Donegal’s roads so far this year, compared to a total number of ten fatalities for all of last year.
