The final phase of the N56 Dungloe to Glenties (Kilraine) Road Scheme is due to get underway next month, it has been confirmed.
Donegal County Council has received approval from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) to proceed with the construction of the N56 Letterilly-Kilraine Phase 2 project.
The successful contractor for the project is FOX Contracts and construction work is expected to begin around mid-September 2024.
Sinn Féin Cllr Brian Carr has welcomed the progress as “great news” as it marks a major step forward in completing the N56 Dungloe-Kilraine Scheme.
