A status yellow warning for rain has been issued for County Donegal this Sunday morning.
The national forecaster says that periods of heavy rain are expected from 6am to 3pm.
The rain may cause localised flooding due to saturated ground conditions as well as difficult travelling conditions.
Donegal is the only county to be issued with the alert.
