Today will bring sunny spells and scattered showers across Ulster while some will be heavy with a chance of hail.
Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees with moderate westerly winds becoming southwesterly this afternoon and freshening.
Tonight, there will be further showers, some heavy or prolonged with hail and isolated thunderstorms possible, especially in the northwest. Spot flooding is possible in places also. They will mostly clear by morning. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with moderate, gusty south to southwest winds.
Tomorrow will start off dry in many areas with sunny spells. Showers in the west will gradually spread eastwards and will become widespread in the afternoon, some heavy. Highest temperatures of 14 or 15 degrees with moderate to fresh, gusty westerly winds.
Meanwhile, a number of weather warnings are in effect as Storm Lilian hits Ireland.
Met Éireann said a Status Yellow rain alert is in place for eight counties, where heavy rain is likely to lead to localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
The warning for Clare, Galway, Roscommon, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly and Westmeath, came into force at 10pm and will continue until 4am.
A separate Status Yellow wind warning for Munster, Wexford, Wicklow, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Kildare and Dublin will be in effect from midnight until 6am tomorrow.
