A walker was rescued and taken to hospital this afternoon after falling near a popular south west Donegal beauty spot.
Killybegs Coast Guard was tasked today at 2:49pm to the Secret Waterfall along the coastline near Kilcar.
“The casualty was treated by paramedics and transported to a waiting ambulance by our shore team. We wish the casualty a speedy recovery,” a spokesperson for the coast guard said.
The team were assisted by the National Ambulance Service (NAS) and the Sligo-based Rescue 118 helicopter.
