The Pier car park in Donegal Town is set to be closed for a time this evening and Thursday due to a predicted high tide.
The supermoon spring tides and the remnants of Hurricane Ernesto have increased the risk of storm surges across the country.
Due to the risk of flooding, the Pier car park in Donegal Town will be closed to the public from 6.30pm – 9.30pm this Wednesday evening (21st August).
The car park will be closed again from 7am to 10am on Thursday (22nd August).
