Finn Valley AC’s Sinead McConnell has won a brilliant silver medal at the World Masters Championships.
She took silver in the women’s W55 category in the 10k race walk.
Sinead clocked a time of 55 minutes and 16 seconds in Gothenberg this morning to take the silver medal.
She was beaten to the gold medal by former Olympic race walker Michelle Rohl of the USA.
