Ballybofey singing sensation Muireann Bradley has booked her most exotic gig yet, as she’s off to Hawaii!
The 17-year-old country blues star is one of the top acts billed to perform at the Sunshine Daydream Hawai‘i Festival on Oʻahu’s North Shore this September.
It’s a long way from the Finn Valley, but Muireann’s finger-picking musical style is adored all over the States.
Her repertoire includes Hawaiian slack-key guitar influences and a host of iconic songs: Stagolee, Sampson & Delilah, Shake Sugaree, Candyman, Buck Dancer’s Choice and more.
Muireann said she “can’t wait” for the festival.
The powerful lineup includes multiple artists from distant shores who have never before performed in Hawaii.
The Abbey VS student has had a meteoric rise in the blues scene after her unforgettable appearances on Jools Holland’s Hootenanny on New Year’s Eve.
