Mona McSharry’s Olympic dream has come to a perfect end in Paris.

Mona was beaming with delight as she carried out the Tricolour during what proved to be a spectacular closing ceremony.
Mona, who went to school at Colaiste Cholmcille in Ballyshannon and swims with Ballyshannon Marlins, had an amazing experience at the games.
The 23-year-old has hinted that this may be her last Olympic Games.

The Sligo woman has done her native county and her neighbouring county proud as have all the athletes who competed at the games from Donegal.
