Met Éireann have updated a heavy rain warning issued for Donegal and a number of other counties later today.
The status yellow warning will now be active from 10pm, a slightly earlier time than initially predicted.
Met Éireann have warned of the possibility of localised flooding overnight tonight, as thundery downpours are expected.
Travelling conditions on the roads are also expected to be difficult.
The warning is now in place until 7am on Monday for County Donegal, as well as counties along the west coast and midlands.
The Met Office has also given a similar weather warning for each county in the North overnight tonight.
