It will be a wet start to the morning as a Status Orange rain warning for Donegal remains in place until 10am.
Outbreaks of heavy rain will continue across Ulster with localised flooding likely and the chance of thunder.
The rain will move eastwards across the province through the morning and afternoon. A clearance to sunny spells and isolated showers will follow from the west during the late-morning and afternoon. Breezy at first with moderate to fresh and gusty southerly winds, which will veer westerly as the rain clears and ease. Highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees.
It will be largely dry and clear tonight with just a few light showers possible, mainly in the west. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in mostly light or moderate southwest winds, freshening towards morning.
Tomorrow will be a day of sunny spells and scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds, stronger near coasts.
