The Duchess of York made a royal visit to one of County Donegal’s favourite food spots this week.
Sarah Ferguson and her entourage made a visit to the world-famous Nancy’s Barn in Ballyliffin, with Ms Ferguson getting to know the staff, as well as Chef Kieran Doherty.
Nancy’s is one of Donegal’s most famous food locations, and the visit of a British royal allowed them to craft a special menu for the Dutchess and her group of visitors.
“It was so good to create a Donegal inspired menu with pride,” Chef Kieran said.
“We cooked a fabulous fresh local seafood platter smoked mackerel pate, smoked salmon mousse, panfried garlic & chilli crab claws, fermented organic veggies & seaweed bread.”
“And thanks to Mohneesh & Josephine from Beyond Light Therapy, where she visited, who recommended her to visit the world famous Nancy’s.”
