Last weekend saw the final day of action as the Day 3 of the All Ireland Juvenile Championships were held in Tullamore.
Niamh Doogan competed in the u15 girls 250m Hurdles finishing 9th and achieved a PB of 39.78 and narrowly missing out on a spot in the final. There was a good performance by Cianan Greene (below) who finished 9th in the u14 boys shot putt in his first ever All Irelands. And Eva Logue finished 5th in the u16 girls High Jump. That brings an end to the track and field season for the juveniles and a break for some for a few weeks before Cross Country train starts.
Locally, the big race at the weekend was the Danny McDaid 15k. It was a good day for Martina Mulhern in the ladies section as she claimed top spot on the podium winning in 1:06:54.
