Mona McSharry has put in another impressive display to recah the sei-final of the Olympic 200m breaststroke in Paris.
The 100m bronze medalist was seventh fastest to qualify for tonight’s 200m breaststroke semi-finals.
The races are scheduled for 9.03pm.
Mona, who is a product of Ballyshannon Marlins SC, looked like she still has plenty in the tank to possibly make another Olympic Final.
Her swim is even more impressive considering she only starting seriously training for the 200m breaststroke three months ago.
Mona, a former pupil of Colaiste Cholmcille in Ballyshannon, was third in the first of the heats by finishing in 2:23.98.
All eyes will be on the Grange, Co Sligo woman when she makes another splash in the pool this evening.
