Donegal’s Peadar Mogan and Oisin Gallen have been named on RTE’s GAA Team of the Year.
Both players had huge seasons and played no small part in helping Jim McGuinness’ side get to the All-Ireland semi-final.
Mogan won the player of the month awards for both May and June. The wing-back from Mountcharles scored 0-13 from play in nine games, racking up 0-05 and taking the man of the match award in the quarter-final win over Louth.
Gallen was one of the championship’s top scorers with 2-33 (1-18f).
He scored six points in the Ulster final before the penalty shootout victory, four of which came from play.
Donegal fans were delighted he stayed injury free and will be key to Donegal’s future development.
Both players featured in a star-studded Team of the Year line-up.
Honourable mentions also went to Ryan McHugh and Brendan McCole.
Armagh’s brilliant Barry McCambridge was voted the RTE Player of the Year.
