Armagh 1-11 v 0-13 Galway
Armagh are bringing the Sam Maguire back to Ulster.
The Orchard County provided a gritty performance as they hung on in the six additional minutes at the end of the game to covercome Galway by just a single point.
In a tough defensive contest, the breakthrough for Armagh came through Aaron McKay in the 47th minute with a well-worked goal.
Galway would fight back however, and with six minutes of added time both sides hit the post in one of the most dramatic endings in recent memory to an All-Ireland Football Final.
In the end, it was Kieran McGeeney’s men who pulled through to win Armagh only their second-ever All-Ireland title, and the first since McGeeney himself captained them to the crown in 2002.
