A popular south west Donegal restaurant has been forced to cut its opening hours due to a shortage of chefs and waiting staff.
The Marina Cafe in Killybegs made the announcement to customers in a post on their Facebook page.
“Due to the overwhelming footfall in the Marina Cafe, we have had to make the hard decision today to review our closing hours,” the post read.
“With the current shortage of chefs and staff, we feel it is only fair on our customers and our staff to now close at 6:30pm, strictly.”
The restaurant, which is famous for its seafood dishes, normally closes at 8pm.
Management took the opportunity to apologise to their customers for the inconvenience caused and thanked them for their continued support.
