Today will be another day of sunny spells and scattered passing showers across Ulster.
A few heavy showers will occur into the afternoon and early evening. Towards nightfall, low cloud and rain and drizzle will arrive into western areas. Fresher than recent days with highs of 16 to 18 degrees, best values further east, all in a light to moderate southwest breezes.
Tonight will be generally dry early on. However, rain and drizzle further west will become more widespread across the province later – some heavy bursts are likely with low cloud, mist and fog in parts too. Lows of 9 to 11 degrees with light to moderate southwesterly winds.
Overnight rain will clear into the Irish Sea early on Saturday morning with sunny spells and scattered showers soon following. The odd heavy shower will occur later. Highs of 17 to 19 degrees. West to northwest winds will be mostly moderate in strength.
