Club members would like to send warm wishes to Teresa McDaid as she departs with Team Ireland to compete in the Olympics in Paris in her role as team manager.
LAC would like to wish Erin Friel the very best in her endeavours in Slovakia as she competes in the European U18 championships.

The Divers Hyundai 10km road race saw LAC’s Philip McHugh cross the line in first place in an excellent time of 33:41.

At the Rathmullan 5km LAC athletes produced some fine performances.
John McCallion ran a superb time of 15:25, Mark McPaul ran 15:31, Philip McHugh ran 15:38, John Foley ran 16:49, Kieran Crawford ran 17:20, Liam Tinney ran 18:00, Barry Mackey ran 18:23, Patrick Brennan 19:04, Eimear Gormley 19:16, Peter Gallagher ran 19:39, Georgina Reid 21:46, Margaret Shields 23:11, Con Duffy 23:26 and Alicia McNulty 24:09.
The Station House Hotel Danny McDaid 15km will take place on the 28th July 2024 starting at 10.30am and will be based at the Aura Leisure Centre and all runners and walkers are welcome.
LAC meets at the Aura on Tuesday at 5.15pm and at 6.30pm for an interval running session, Thursday evening for a hill run at 6pm, Saturday morning at 9.30am for a tempo run and Sunday morning at 8am for a long run.
Fit 4 Life which is run by LAC in conjunction with the Donegal Sports Partnership takes place every Monday at 6pm on the track at the Aura Leisure Centre Letterkenny.
The new start time of 6pm has attracted a large numbers of participants many of whom are now regular runners in 5km road races taking place across the county.
The aim of the programme is to reach out to those who wish to improve their fitness and all are most welcome any Monday they choose to attend.
Fit 4 Life is not about speed but fitness and the coaches from LAC particularly welcome newcomers.
