It’s honours even after an enthralling first-half in the All-Ireland Semi-Final.
The only goal of the first half came in a freak moment for Galway, when Paul Conroy under-hit a shot that dropped just short of goal and bounced into the back of the net, as Donegal keeper Shaun Patton was unsighted.
Aside from that moment, both sides showed real quality with a number of fantastic scores knocked over from range.
Michael Langan had several superb efforts, with some good scores from the likes of Oisin Gallen and Ciaran Thompson.
The stage is set for a dramatic second-half, with Donegal carrying good momentum as they erased Galway’s goal advantage.
