A group of kids at a Summer camp in Donegal are willing on their side to win by creating their own version of Jimmy’s Winning Matches.
Attendees at Campa Samhraidh Óige Sliabh Liag, at Coláiste Aodh Mhic Bhricne in Teelin made their voices heard with a brilliant rendition of Jimmy’s Winning Matches as Gaelige – Jimí ag baint cluichí!
With the kind permission of original songwriter Rory and the Island, the kids and their teachers put together the wonderful version of the now iconic Donegal GAA anthem.
Donna Ní Ghallachobhair had the idea for making the song, and was helped by Declan Dal Gallagher’s recording skills, and a translation provided by Deirbhile Ní Churraighín.
Na Cinnrí, Melanie, Treasa and Cathal were also given special thanks by the school.
