One of Donegal’s biggest GAA fans has set himself the challenge of visiting every single club in the county.
Darragh Crawford has never let the side down and is a regular at Donegal men’s, ladies’ and underage games.
The popular Lifford man started his marathon tour of the county’s clubs yesterday in Downings.
There, he was given a warm welcome and even gave a demonstration of his own Gaelic skills to the local senior players.
“The club were delighted to welcome Lifford man Darragh Crawford, one of Donegal’s biggest supporters, down today for a visit,” Downings posted on their social media pages.
“Darragh has set himself a goal of visiting every GAA Club in Donegal and we were honoured he chose to start with Downings today! Thanks to some of our senior players for coming along today to meet with Darragh and his friends from Donegal Community Inclusion Ballybofey. We wish Darragh the best of luck with his goal and remember ‘Up Downings!”
We wish Darragh all the best with his challenge and, no doubt, he will be in Croke Park cheering on his favourite team on Sunday!
