Last weekend saw Day 1 of the All Ireland u13 to u19 juvenile All Ireland track and field championships and it was the turn of Aaliyah Gallagher Canavan in the u13 girl high jump to claim a great silver medal.
Aaliyah (main pic) has worked hard with her coaches over the past few months on technique etc and matched her PB of 1.43m to secure her podium position.
