The Milford Tuesday Active Retirement Association celebrated its first six months of activities last weekend.
Great food and a great night’s entertainment was enjoyed by all in the Mulroy Woods Hotel onFriday night.
Despite only being formed in February, the group already has 70 members.
They meet on the last Tuesday of every month in the Gallowglass Centre as well as having an activity day every Tuesday at Ray Hall. Coffee mornings are also held in Mulroy Woods every other Wednesday and walks on the other Wednesday. Trips out and mini breaks are also being organised.
The organisers took the opportunity to thank Mulroy Woods for being very supportive over the past six months, as has the newly appointed Councillor Declan Meehan.
