The median asking price for a property in Donegal is now €215,000, according to the latest MyHome.ie survey.
The Property Price Report, for the second quarter of this year, also reveals prices in the county have risen by €5,025 during that period.
The latest median asking price equates to a rise of €15,000, compared to this time last year.
Asking prices for a 3-bed semi-detached house in Donegal increased by €7,500 over the quarter to €167,500, down 1.5% compared to Q2 in 2023.
The asking price for a 4-bed semi-detached house in the county remained at €235,000 between Q1 and Q2. However, it’s showing an increase of €36,500 on the second quarter of 2023.
The number of properties for sale in Donegal increased between the first quarter of the year and Q2 by 8%, with 204 properties for sale.
On average, it takes three and a half months for a property to sell in the county after being placed on the market.
