An urgent meeting is being sought to address a disruptive series of water issues in the Gweedore and the Rosses areas.
Another burst water main has been reported in the Glasserchoo, Meenaclady and surrounding areas today (Thursday).
Local councillor Michael McClafferty has contacted Uisce Eireann seeking a meeting to discuss long-term solutions.
“It is just like a pin cushion this week in all different areas, creating floods, sick people are suffering without water and there is a nursing home in the area as well,” Cllr McClafferty said.
“This is not good enough. I’m requesting Irish Water to meet with us to find a solution going forward.”
Repairs to today’s issue are scheduled to take place until 6pm.
