A teenager has died and another has been seriously injured following a collision between a bus and an e-scooter in Waterford in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí are investigating the incident that occurred at approximately 2:10am on Thursday 27th June 2024 on the R680 Cork Road in Waterford city.
Both teenagers were travelling on the one e-scooter when it was involved in a collision with a bus. The driver of the bus was uninjured. There were no passengers onboard at the time.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
