Inishowen Co-Operative Society has an opportunity for a full-time Warehouse Assistant in its Carndonagh store.
Reporting to the branch manager, the successful applicant will work with and assist the warehouse co-ordinator and stock control co-ordinator. The successful applicant will assist with the movement and distribution of stock.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive goods inwards and control goods outwards.
- Pick and pack stock for branches and generate supporting documentation.
- Update on the ERP system goods inwards and outwards.
- Maintain records for all goods inwards and outwards.
- Inspect and verify items against the delivery note accurately recording damaged or missing items.
- Raise credit requests for delivery discrepancies and returns to suppliers.
- Organise stock in stockrooms into designated areas and ensure products have shelf labels.
- Operate forklift in the yard and warehouse.
- Ensure warehouse environment is safe, clean and tidy.
- Maintain an organised warehouse and monitor stock rotation.
- Undertake stock cycle counts.

- An ability to work to strict deadlines and on own initiative.
- Possess problem solving skills.
