Letterkenny Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an early morning crash which left three people hospitalised.

The single vehicle collision occurred yesterday at around 2.45am on the main N56 Letterkenny to Kilmacrennan road at Ballaghderg. The car was travelling from Letterkenny towards Illistrin when it left the road and collided with a fence.

The driver and two passengers were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained, none of which are believed to be life threatening in nature.

“We appeal to anybody who may have travelled along that route around that time with a dashcam to make the footage available to us,” Garda Sergeant Eunan Walsh said.

If anybody witnessed the collision, or has any information, they are asked to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. The Garda Confidential Line may also be contacted on 1800 666 111.
