Letterkenny’s Dylan Browne McMonagle had a winner at yesterday’s race meeting at the famous Ascot racecourse.
He commandeered the 2/1 favourite Uxmal to the win in the 6:15 Queen Alexandra Stakes.
Dylan brought home the Joseph O’Brien trained horse well clear of the chasing pack in a dominant performance.
The Queen Alexandra Stakes is one of the marquee races during the classic meeting at Ascot in June, being the final race of the weekend’s racing activities.
It still remains the longest-distance flat race in Britain, and the win for Browne McMonagle is another promising step forward for the young Donegal star.
