Callum Devine is under increasing pressure as there are just two stages of the 2024 Donegal International Rally left.
The Derry driver had his lead cut by over 17 seconds as he took a cautious approach the second time round on the Gartan stage in his Skoda R2.
Second-placed Meirion Evans has slashed the lead to just 20 seconds with two stages to go, the Welsh driver finding some great consistent pace in his Toyota GR Yaris.
David Kelly is now also within striking range as he is 29.9 seconds back from Devine in third place in his VW Polo.
Josh Moffett now holds fourth spot, with former rally leader Matt Edwards slipping back to fifth in his damaged Ford Fiesta.
One more run through Atlantic Drive and Fanad Head will decide the winner of a thrilling 2024 edition of the Donegal International Rally.
The eventual winners are expected back in Letterkenny at 6:30pm roughly this evening.
