An Taoiseach Simon Harris is the latest notable name to be added to the speakers’ list at this year’s MacGill Summer School.
He was added to the speakers’ list yesterday, after Minister for the Environment and Green Party leader Eamon Ryan stepped down.
Ryan is still currently scheduled to appear at this year’s MacGill Summer School in Glenties, but the announcement that Simon Harris would also be attending just hours after Ryan’s resignation may put that into doubt.
Simon Harris joins other notable speakers such as Sinn Fein’s Pearse Doherty, former Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan, and former Tanaiste and current Donegal GAA Chairperson Mary Coughlan.
