McHugh crowned Footballer of the Week – again!

Kilcar’s Ryan McHugh has once again been crowned as the GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The Donegal star received 3,632 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Armagh’s Conor Turbitt (2,608) and Dublin’s Cormac Costello (2,400).

McHugh, along with clubmate Paddy McBrearty, was also been named in the GAA Football Team of the Week

They were chosen for their fine performances against Clare in Castlebar on Saturday.

McHugh racked up 1-04, covering every blade of the pitch, while McBrearty hit 0-5.

Donegal now go straight into the All-Ireland quarter-finals in two weeks time in Croke Park. They will know their opponents following next weekend’s preliminary quarter finals.
