A man has pleaded guilty to stealing a 7-series BMW car.
John Harding, 56, appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to the single charge under the Theft and Fraud Offences Act.
Harding, with an address at The Riverhouse, Gweedore Road, Dungloe, Co Donegal, only spoke to plead guilty to the charge.
He is charged on July 16th, 2019 that he did steal property, to wit a BMW 7 Series to the value of £65,640 (€77,656) the property of BMW.
The court heard that Harding has no previous convictions.
No details of the incident were given in court.
The accused man’ barrister, Mr Peter Nolan, requested a probation and welfare report for his client saying the court may take a certain view after reading such a report.
Judge John Aylmer agreed to the request and adjourned final sentencing until the next session of the circuit court.
