‘The whole is greater than the sum of its parts’ as so wisely said by Aristotle, is the very core principle behind all the holistic therapies.
And Reflexology is one of the best means of utilising the body’s own natural healing abilities through treating it holistically. Traditional approach and medicine are symptoms orientated in that they treat the symptoms. Holistic therapies go to the source of the physical complaint which may be emotional or stress related. Physical complaints can sometimes originate from trauma or stress. Treating the person holistically will help the body to go back to its own natural balance.
