A county councillor since 1999, these past five years have seen Gerry using his experience to lobby for housing, road safety and essential supports and services in the East Donegal area.
Here is just a sample of the projects and causes that Cllr Crawford has been working on:

Cllr Crawford remains focused on defective concrete blocks which are a major concern to all of us.
“I will continue to raise this concern at every opportunity,” he said.
“I will lobby for the provision of affordable housing, serviced sites, and also for increased road improvement funding.
“I will continue to lobby on behalf of the various groups who seek my assistance and to stand up for rural communities in the planning reviews.

Dear Voter,
“On June 7th, I once again respectfully ask for your support and trust, by giving me your Number 1 Vote or next highest preference.
“I pledge to the best of my ability to be worthy of that trust, and to continue working for the betterment of this area.
“The Stranorlar Electoral Area also now includes Lifford, Stranorlar, Raphoe, Convoy, Porthall, St Johnston and surrounding rural areas.
