A group of over 50 cyclists took place in a special charity bike ride – “Orlaith the way to Donegal” from Cork!
Over the course of the last three days, 56 cyclists travelled over 400km to raise money for Pieta House and the NICE centre for movement disorders based in Birmingham, UK.
Seven teams of cyclists taking part had their own fundraising pages, with the combined total raised from each making it to an astonishing €70,000!
The cycle was organised by Caroline and John Quinn to raise money on behalf of their daughter Orlaith, who makes use of the facilities at NICE.
The cyclists arrived back in Donegal this afternoon after a gruelling three day effort, with the finish line being at The Cross.
A huge congratulations to all involved in this massive charity effort.
