Finn Valley College held its annual Prizegiving Ceremony on Thursday, May 23rd, to recognise the outstanding accomplishments of its students.
The ceremony marked the first for the new Principal, Mr. Séan Mc Fadden, who proudly addressed the student body and staff.
The event was a joyous celebration of academic excellence and extracurricular achievements. Mr. Rory White served as the master of ceremonies, welcoming special guest speaker Dr. Martin Gormley, Director of Schools for Donegal ETB. Dr. Gormley delivered an inspiring message, highlighting the power of education as a passport to a world of opportunity.
Student awards were presented within the framework of the school’s five core values: Excellence in Education, Care, Respect, Equality, and Community. Mr. Mc Fadden emphasized the importance of teamwork, a cornerstone of the school’s success. He expressed his gratitude to the Prizegiving Committee, staff, parents, the Board of Management, the Parents Association, and community partners for their unwavering support.
The school congratulates all the recipients who have shown persistence, strived towards success, displayed creative minds and valued empathy and kindness along the way.
