Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC) is a community-led local development company covering all of County Donegal except the Inishowen area. We work to improve the opportunities for people and communities in Donegal to bring about positive changes in their own lives and in their community.
The Specialist Officer – Diversity, Equality & Inclusion will focus on addressing various aspects of diversity, equality, and inclusion in the local community. They will act as a Company Champion for EDI; working collaboratively across the organisation to ensure DLDC is delivering inclusive supports and services to all communities. They will provide training – internally and externally and develop policies to ensure that DLDC is a leader locally and nationally in equality, diversity and inclusion.
The specialist must demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in community development, with a strong commitment to integrating principles of equality, social inclusion, and anti-poverty into practice. Prior experience in a role focused on equality, interculturalism, and inclusion within the community is essential.
